Pitches wanted (higher ed, political engagement, etc.) | $400-$450 for op-eds

If any of y'all got thoughts brewing on higher ed and antifascism, uprisings, political engagement, McCarthyism, how academics can be useful/harmful to democracy, etc., you know where to pitch me.
We typically work on a sliding scale for writers; since we're a higher ed publication and most of our contributors are employed in higher ed, we try to push for more for grad students and contingent faculty, for instance. Like all publications we've taken a hit during the crises, but our standard rate for an op-ed is $400-$450 depending on length.
