Remote Senior Writer wanted for advertising technology company | $75,000-$95,000 per year

We are pleased to announce that we are actively partnered with a growing advertising technology company that is looking to hire a full-time Senior Content Writer. This is a full-time, direct hire position and can be worked 100% remotely from anywhere in the US. This person will be responsible for writing content and copy, along with researching, developing, and executing various content strategies in order to optimize the output of e-mail marketing, sms marketing, and other outbound marketing campaigns. The ideal person will be have a unique combination of creative and analytical skills that can track the effectiveness of ideas that have been developed and implemented. You need to be a strategic thinker and optimizer that thrives on being detail-orientated and always trying to improve user engagement / content performance. Please read on for more details!

RESPONSIBILTITIES:

• Developing cutting-edge copy and content strategies
• Owning the AIB style, quality, and tone in all work and curating a content bank that is workable across all channels
• Gathering and analyzing KPIs and user insights to determine content effectiveness
• Feeling comfortable designing, executing, and analyzing a test from start to finish (which includes examining tests for biases or other points of failure)
• Leading and executing analytical projects of various sizes from start to finish (which includes doing hands-on project work)
• Suggesting changes to operational processes to maintain strong performance and company health
• Various organizational tasks to drive the department forward

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• At least 7 years experience as a content strategist, information architect, writer, or related position
• Copywriting or strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
• You have an understanding of user experience and content optimization principles across channels (web, email, and social media) and devices
• You have strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities and a strong analytical aptitude
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets /Chart.io or similar
• Good eye for detail
• Excellent organizational skills (Project management experience a plus!)
• Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced and ever changing environment
• Ability to work both independently and with a team
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a work from home environment who knows when to ask questions or ask for help Desired (but not required)

BONUS POINTS:

• Understanding of SMTP and how email works
• Hands on experience with email sending services similar to MailChimp Basic knowledge of HTML and/or CSS
• Familiarity with the scientific method, experimental design, and/or AB testing
