We are still accepting pitches. Rates depend on the type of story, but they range from $1 to $1.75 per word.
We're often looking for stories from people with good sources on the week's news — if there's something we can add to a conversation happening that readers won't find elsewhere, that's a good story for us. Right now, unsurprisingly, a lot of our coverage is focused on the pandemic, whether we'll ever be out of it, and the tech world's reaction/connection to the BLM protests and movement. My area of focus is digital transformation, so a lot of the stories right now are around how various industries are being upended by the pandemic. I'm always happy to check out a pitch or pass one on to another editor who may be better suited for a particular story.
