Sound Off is looking to expand our marketing team and find a Senior Copywriter to work with on an ongoing, freelance basis! Reporting to the CEO and the Marketing and Creative Director, the Senior Copywriter has a passion for brands, and understands how to communicate across digital, social, mobile and traditional channels.

The Senior Copywriter is responsible for researching, creating, and writing copy that properly reflects the brand strategy. Generates unique and innovative materials for Brand; developing text from draft stage through final copy. We are looking to add someone to our team who can grow with us. This freelance position is part time (approximately 10-15 hours/week), but ongoing. We look forward to learning more about you!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To write compelling, high-quality copy for brand positions, integrated communications, digital platforms, blog content for SEO, social media, experiential and printed communications. This will involve working as part of a creative team
To devise imaginative and effective concepts across every sort of media
To develop and maintain a good knowledge of employer brand
Ensure brand reputation and distinctive character/voice have been consistently developed

QUALIFICATIONS:

3-5 years of copywriting experience
Should be a highly motivated self-starter with a deep understanding of customers' needs, product, and the competitive landscape.
Ideal candidate will have experience in the fitness/wellness space
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.
High level of computer literacy, and proficiency in Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Etc)
Ability to meet deadlines, while working both independently and as part of the team
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

PREFERRED:

Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, advertising, marketing, or comparable work experience.
