Pitches wanted (health, human interest) (worldwide, esp. BAME) | £400 for features

My inbox is always open for pitches. I’d love to hear fresh ideas, especially from BAME writers. Health and human interest are the kinds of feature we commission the most.
We welcome pitches from home and abroad alike, so long as you bear in mind that you’d be writing for a British-based audience. I’ve commissioned international pitches several times before. We are a British magazine but we take a global view, so I'm keen to hear stories from the rest of the world.
We pay £400 for our main features in the magazine, which run at around 1,200 words.
