We seek reviews of books from or about the Western U.S, fiction, nonfiction, or poetry, publishing in October or later. $400 for approximately 800 words. I'm especially interested in underrepresented authors and reviewers. Pitch me.
Send me pitches that aren't just book summaries. How does this book fit into a larger literary, historical, regional, or cultural context? What is the author doing that they haven't done before, or that other writers haven't done before? Also send me examples of other reviews by you.
If you haven't written reviews before, you can still pitch me—send other clips in that case, and/or let's talk about the process.
LOCATION: We do work with writers outside the U.S., typically paying by PayPal or a U.S. bank account deposit.
