We have a Youtube channel where we interview/foster discussion about empowerment and health.

For the purpose of this post we will be focusing on the Fiction/IP creation side of things.

We  are focused on releasing entertaining IP that has a clear Hero's  Journey and a foundation on empowerment. Examples of IP's that fit this  narrative are: One Piece, Boku No Hero Academia, The Matrix, Star Wars,  Naruto, Solo Leveling, Vinland Saga, Harry Potter etc.

We  have started with traditional comics and are now pivoting onto  Webtoons. The ultimate goal is to grow our audience and build out these  IP's for Movies/TV/Video Games.

WHAT ARE WE WRITING?

We are launching multiple properties for Webtoons.  The main focus is writing entertaining/empowering stories for the  "Shounen/Shojo" audience (Boys 11-15y/o and separately for Girls  11-15y/o).

We are looking for writers with a strong  skillset in writing iconic characters, believable conflict and a deep  passion for Anime, Manga, Manhwa/Webtoons.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Understand Story structure (Eastern/Western)
• Script writing for comics
• Portfolio of past works/personal projects
• Able to take a prompt and build out a world/characters.
• Able to take notes/criticism and work with an Editor.

We are also open to story pitches if you already have something written out that fits our demographic.

PAYMENT

We  pay per episode and a writer is contracted for 10 episodes. Each  episode will average 50-80 panels of story. The average rate is $0.10+  per word. Negotiations will be handled by the Producer once your  application has been approved.

Timelines for each  episode is subject to change depending on the IP, but other writers have  taken 2-5 days per episode. There will be more detailed discussions  after you have been connected to our Producer.

Ideally we are looking for  writers with comic writing experience, but we know good ideas can come  from anywhere, so even if you are young and inexperienced, if you want  to develop your story into a full fledged Webtoon, we have the  managerial and artistic talent in house to do that.

Send  us what you have and we will have our Editor look through for approval  of all submissions. If you do not hear back from us, keep working on  your craft and keep building out your work! We will do our best to let  you know the status of your submission.
