Remote Writer wanted for P2P platform | $25-$40 per hour

Wono is a tech start-up that is looking to be the next Airbnb,  Upwork, Turo platform for people. It's all about P2P sharing which is  trending and growing.

We are looking for a Content  Writer to join our editorial team and enrich our website with new blog  posts, guides and marketing copy. This long-term project requires  well-traveled writers who not only have a strong passion for outdoor  activities and adventures but also love putting down their exciting  experiences in writing. Apart from having a strong command of the  English language, we also expect you to have excellent writing, editing  and proofreading skills and be able to create compelling pieces that  contain both interesting and factual information about attractions,  beaches, hotels, shopping, cultures, airlines, golf courses, landmarks,  nightlife and just about anything that is part of the multi-billion  travel industry.

Most importantly, a sense of personal experience, positive attitude, commitment and sense of teamwork will be highly appreciated

You’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.

This will be a fully remote position!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
• Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Submit work to editors for input and approval
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Promote content on social media
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Update website content as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
• Portfolio of published articles
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Familiarity with web publications
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Ability to meet deadlines
• No need for degree, just your brain!

Salary: $25.00 to $40.00 /hour
