The Motley Fool Wealth Management team is looking for a freelance writer to produce weekly articles about retirement, investing, and topics related to high net worth individuals. We're asking for you to submit a sample article in the attached form with below parameters.
Tone - We are looking to strike an editorial tone. We want to educated the reader on both the topic and our offering. This is not a hard sell marketing message but should carry a base note making the case for active management and Fool Wealth as an option. We are sending other emails that are the hard sell.
Target reader - We are looking for our messages to resonate with high net worth people (investable assets of $500K plus). A subtle example - rather than trying to convince the reader of the value of stock investing assume they already know the value. So while the main message might still be "stocks are good" the underlying assumptions are subtly different.
This is a contract position that pays $200 per published article. If we feel that your work is exemplary, we could ask you to write longer research articles.
