Pitches wanted (craft, publishing) | 40 cents per word
Added 2020-07-31 16:24:34 +0000 UTCCOMPANY/PUBLICATION: BOOKLIFE
We are seeking pitches from the BookLife community! If you are an indie author, publishing professional, or serve another role within the book world, we invite you to submit proposals for guest columns to appear in Publishers Weekly, the BookLife Report, and on the PW and BookLife websites. All authors are compensated.
We are specifically looking for articles that concern the craft of writing and editing, as well as the experience of self-publishing. Writers of color are strongly encouraged to pitch. Please submit your pitch and resume to booklifeeditor@booklife.com.
For print stories, PW pays 40 cents per word and we ask for pieces that run between 700-1000 words. Again, we are primarily seeking articles that concern independent publishing and all things relating to craft.
