Open for pitches (Indianapolis / IN lifestyle, entertainment, culture, politics) | $200-$3,000 per piece

We are always looking for pitches. Aside from the feature, the magazine is very rubric'd and about 75 percent freelance-written. Most of our stories can be found online (no paywall) and copies of the magazine are available in stores across Central Indiana. In the front of the book, opportunities range from $200 to $600. I have a hard news department open to freelancers that fetches from $800 to $1,250, and features command $1,500 to $3,000. I'm looking for specific story pitches that are indigenous to Indianapolis (and, to a lesser extent, Indiana) and fit the tone and scope of the magazine. No essays, columns, or book excerpts.
