I’m accepting freelance pitches from POC journalists on sports, race, culture, criminal justice and health care for CBS News dot com. For clarity: I'm looking for reporting instead of commentary.
Stories I’m looking for: profiles on athletes or artists fighting for social justice, spotlights on Black-owned businesses, and stories about POC on the frontlines of coronavirus.
And anything related to the return of sports, virus outbreaks in prisons and policing reform. These just some examples — I’m always open to hearing new ideas.
Rates start at 50 cents a word. It just depends on the piece.
