We’re looking for a Marketing Content & Brand Manager to join our ambitious, hard-charging marketing team. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, loves to strategize about messaging and is energized by putting compelling ideas into words. You will be a self-starter who can easily shift between thought leadership to sales enablement content. Your work will be key to increasing brand awareness, equipping our sales team for success, and ultimately driving revenue.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Own the content strategy and execution across all Marketing channels and activities.
Create and manage content that drives Mentor Collective’s brand awareness, thought leadership position, and leads through email -campaigns, blog posts, website copy, etc.
You lead with a performance marketing mindset, thoughtfully tracking, measuring, gaining insights, and taking action to iterate on content
Manage the MC Brand across all channels and content ensuring coherence and compliance
Build and manage a network of external freelancers (writers, graphic designers etc.) to execute content
Provide content direction and clarity through strong cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams/stakeholders, including senior management
Create and manage Mentor Collective’s editorial calendar - aligned to the overall marketing strategy and customer journey
Manage Mentor Collective website on SquareSpace
Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and inbound lead generation

Complete content suite for 3 webinars
Complete content suite for 5 virtual round tables
Weekly Blog Post
Daily social media posts

Create engaging content to be used throughout the stages of our buyer’s journey including (but not limited to):

Lead generation email campaigns
Webinar content
Blog posts
Infographics
Whitepapers
Video scripts
Social media posts (primarily LinkedIn)
Case studies
Sales enablement materials
Conference proposals
Powerpoint/Googleslide (deck) presentations

Example KPIs:

Event attendance
Click-through rates
Lead generation
Growth - subscribers, downloads, page views etc.

ABOUT YOU:

Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a content/brand manager or equivalent role
Demonstrated ownership of company-level content strategy
Experience sourcing and managing a team of contractors
Excellent writing and editing skills, including the ability to craft a style, tone, and voice appropriate for the Higher Education audience
High degree of comfort across many content mediums: from press releases, to a lead gen email campaign, to a presentation deck.
Has developed compelling content, from ideation to execution
Demonstrated ability to manage projects involving multiple departments and stakeholders on a tight deadline
Are an enthusiastic content creator with B2B Marketing experience
A self-directed learner who enjoys working both autonomously and collaboratively on a team

BONUS SKILLS (OPTIONAL)

Previous work with Higher Education
Experience with Hubspot, Salesforce, and SquareSpace a big plus
Working knowledge of SEO tactics
Experience with video production
