Remote CBD Writer / Editor wanted (worldwide) | $4,000 per month (25 articles per month + editorial work)

We are looking for a writer/editor with deep knowledge and experience in the CBD industry to contribute fresh content and lend some editorial leadership to InStash.com. This is an opportunity to have a major impact on a web publication while working alongside a deep bench of editorial talent across our portfolio.

This is a 2-month contract position with the potential for contract extension or conversion to a full-time opportunity in the future. This job is fully remote and can be worked from anywhere in the world.

REQUIREMENTS

• Superb writing and editing skills (American English)
• Deep knowledge of CBD industry, including emerging products and trends
• Experience editing online content, preferably about CBD-related topics
• Tech-savvy and able to adapt to new online platforms
• Basic working knowledge of WordPress, Photoshop, HTML and SEO
• Reliable access to a computer and wi-fi to work remotely

PREFERRED

• Experience working with/managing remote teams
• Basic understanding of affiliate revenue generation

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Help Editorial Director generate story ideas and assign content
• Contribute ~25 articles per month, including long-form articles, reviews, and quick news/product posts
• Manage/copy edit ~25 articles from contributors
• Evolve voice and brand of Instash and build audience loyalty
• Work collaboratively with the publication’s Affiliate Manager
• Follow SEO best practices to maximize traffic to the site
• Stay up to date with CBD news, products and trends
