Content Writer wanted for content marketing agency | $100-$300 per article

We're looking for a couple of freelance writers to join our content marketing agency as we grow! We've got a larger project coming up that we're looking to bring a couple writers on for, and the work should be on a pretty consistent basis.

Here are a few of the main things we're looking for – this will help you figure out if the opportunity is a good fit:

• A passion for writing. It's cool to know about SEO and content marketing, but the content we're writing is for humans, and we're looking for a writer who really cares about making content readable and informative. That being said? SEO experience is great.
• You're a full-time freelancer – we're looking for someone who freelances full-time (or is trying to get there! we'd love to help be part of that process).
• If you have experience with link building outreach, that is a huge plus. Link building is a big part of the work we do, and if you've got experience with it that's awesome.
• You're a native English speaker. It doesn't matter where you're based out of, but we are looking for native English speakers on this project.

THESE ARE THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES YOU'LL BE HANDLING:

• Creation of well-structured pieces of content with minimal supervision (you'll be given content briefs, but the actual writing process itself is all you!)
• Adapting to different brand voices and being able to research and have a good understanding of the niche
• Communication via Slack and Trello
• Sourcing photos for articles
• Potentially partnering on the content roadmap creation process
• Optional: If you have experience/connections, link building will be a part of this position as well

Something else that's important to note is availability. We're looking for someone who's able to write at least 2-3 blog posts per month on average, more is great.

HOW MUCH WE'RE PAYING:

Don't worry – we know hourly writing rates are, pretty much, the worst. We're offering between $100 and $300 per article, depending on the type/length of article and your experience. Per-word, that would come to anywhere between 7 and 30 cents. We can discuss that further when we get started.

We write a few different types of articles, so pay is different for each. When it comes to link building and content roadmap creation, we'd like to negotiate that hourly (between $30 to 65 based on experience), but we can work together on that!
