Writer wanted for daily stock market newsletter | ~10 cents per word, negotiable

We're a 10-year old trading education company. We have over 1,000 paid monthly members in our trading rooms. We focus on the fundamentals of day trading and swing trading. All our experts have professional money management experience (either in hedge funds or working for big financial institutions). We'll provide a link to our website after you apply.

OUR GOAL FOR THE NEWSLETTER

Right now we're publishing an email newsletter 3x's a week but we want to ramp up to 5x's a week (M-F). The goal of the newsletter is "financial entertainment." So you're basically reporting on market news -- but doing it in a way that's interesting and entertaining.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking to hire a writer who can takeover the newsletter that we're publishing 3x's a week now (M,W,F). But as soon as we're happy with the writer, we'll expand to 5x's a week. The newsletter is about 500-600 words on average.

We also have other content needs (i.e. special reports that we give away as lead magnets to help build our email list). And if things go well with the newsletter we'd like to discuss this too.

So while this position will start as part-time there's potential for it to grow into a more full-time relationship.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Understands how to do thorough research on subject matter.
• Can handle critical feedback and adjust accordingly
• Has experience in the financial industry (day trading experience even better).
• Can write quickly (Since the newsletter features breaking market news it will need to be based on that mornings market news. Deadline to deliver draft will be 11:45 ET.)

COMPENSATION

Our budget is around $250-$350 per week for (5) 500 - 600 word newsletters but is negotiable DOE.

DO YOU NEED TO HAVE FINANCIAL EXPERIENCE?

Yes, it is required that you have experience in the financial industry. You should understand the stock market, be familiar with current financial news and be able to communicate your knowledge clearly and concisely for the average reader.
