Writer wanted to polish MBA admission essays | 20+ cents per word

I am transitioning away from the military and applying to an MBA program, and I must answer 3 questions with a 200-word max limit.
I have written out the content for the answers to those questions, but am looking for someone to take the meat and intent of what I have written and cull it down to a nice succinct response that sounds professional yet captures my intent and does so within that 200 word cap.
A second component to this request is one of my three letters of recommendation200-word I am writing the framework of. Before you think I am being shitty I am not, this is customary practice in the military when you seek a letter of recommendation in the military you communicate with your supervisor that you are going to ask for this LOR, but then you basically write it how you want it to sound and then give it to them, they will tweak it and personalize a bit more and then give it back to you. I don’t know why that is the way it is done but its how it has been for my 15+ years. I have already written this, but also would like someone to edit/proof it, polish it so it is a nice looking product before I send it to him.
Since these are short I'm not sure what appropriate pricing suggestion should be but am open to discussion with the person who is the right fit.
$20 cents a word? Or we can negotiate an upfront total effort price that way it is fairer.
