We’ve written a new pitching guide that we hope will be helpful to writers of all backgrounds looking to contribute to Sight & Sound. If you have a great idea for a film story, be it a feature, review, news report or video essay, we want to hear from you. We pay at a rate of £120 for every 1,000 words for both print and online.
We do welcome pitches from anywhere, though bearing in mind that our audience is both UK and international, and internationalist—so local stories from other countries should have an interest to audiences beyond national borders.
