Food Writer / pitches wanted (San Jose CA) | $200-$500+ per story

Calling all freelancers: We’re looking for a writer based in the San Jose area to help us cover that city’s vibrant food scene — to pitch and write guides/maps, news stories, and features.
We would especially love someone who is embedded in one or more of the city’s great immigrant food communities. If you think you might be a good fit, email me with some of your ideas!
COMPENSATION: Right now we're looking for someone to contribute 1 to 2 pieces a month. Depending on the length and type of piece, it'd probably be somewhere in the range of $200 to $500 per story — more if it's a long feature, but that likely wouldn't be very often. (And even if the writer doesn't become a regular contributor, we always welcome one-off pitches.)
