We're looking for gambling content writers, a site manager and freelance reporters/analysts.

GAMBLING CONTENT WRITER

The US gambling industry is constantly evolving and expanding, which means OPR needs more resource pages to educate and inform the public. This can include information about the legality of forms of gambling in different states, to information about online poker rooms, to reviews of casino and sportsbook apps.

What do we ask of a page content writer at OPR?

Researches the topic assigned to them to create deep and authoritative pages.
Writes in an approachable and understandable way for the average reader but with enough depth and expertise to inform even industry experts
Has an understanding of the gambling industry in general and online casinos and sports betting in specific, or at least the desire and ability to learn about them.
Exhibits attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in copy.

Writers located in states with online gambling options are often preferred.

COMPENSATION: The range can depend greatly based on experience, and we're generally looking for folks who have experience writing in our areas of expertise. We generally pay 12-15 cents a word for writing positions but can pay more for people who have been with us for awhile or who have subject matter (i.e., online gambling) expertise.
