Writer wanted for apartment report | ~10+ cents per word

Crittenden Research Inc. is a leading publisher in the real estate and insurance industries for the past 40+ years. We have an immediate opening for a freelance writer to supplement the content produced by our in-house Real Estate editorial team. Our three real estate publications include The Apartment Report, The Retail Tenants Report, and The Crittenden Report on Real Estate Financing.
We are looking for a freelance writer to cover approximately two stories per month, averaging 750-1000 words each, for our Apartment Report. Topics will include multifamily management, development, and financing. The ideal candidate will have experience or knowledge of this industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research story ideas either provided by our Real Estate editor or pitch story ideas.
- Conduct phone and email interviews with sources for stories.
- Write, proofread, and edit copy.
- Ensure that writing style and tone is consistent with the Crittenden Research brand.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- 3+ years experience writing
- Knowledge of the Commercial Real Estate or Multifamily industry
- Is deadline-driven and able to follow direction
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
