Laddering Your Success (LYS) is seeking Lesson Plan Authors that are passionate about motivating students and finding new ways to educate & engage them to become better-prepared students.

Get paid for what you’re already doing, by building interactive and inspirational lesson plans to support teachers and engage students.

REQUIREMENTS

The perfect candidate must have a passion & commitment to immediate to long-term success to help students understand, determine, and select the right tools and training for long term success.
They must possess a holistic view and understanding of the emotional, cultural, social, and financial challenges this segment of students face and provide guidance for their success.
Possess a proven track record in the educational, academic, or counseling field.
Preferred to have 3 to 10 years of education experience.
Have a welcoming personality seen through their work and a servant leadership mindset
Must believe in the LYS Core Values of Wisdom, Compassion, and Commitment and share the LYS values concept of Being > Knowing > Doing.

COMPENSATION:

$2400 per subject grade level completed

Contract length: Academic Year (Aug - May)

Immediate supervisor: LYS COO

Job Summary: Provides students with appropriate learning activities (via lesson plan) and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for Spiritual, Financial, Cultural, Educational, Vocational, Health, and Social growth.

Prepare lesson plans as you would for your own class, with added rows for LYS content, and rows that reflect SPED accommodations
Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and, establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects, and to communicate to the students
Strive to implement, by instruction, LYS' philosophy of education and instructional goals and objectives
Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations
Maintain open communication with LYS

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Texas Teacher Certification appropriate for level and/or subject area of assignment.

Work experience: Minimum of 3 years of verifiable wage earning experience utilizing the licensure requirement.

Type of skill and/or required licensing/certification: Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management, internal to the Laddering Your Success. Ability to type. Valid Teacher Certification and License for your state that is grade-level appropriate.

JOB SUMMARY:
