My father and I have a new publication. It’s an academic journal with pop culture appeal that is dedicated to studying Black culture in America, France, the Caribbean, and the UK. To be included in Vol. 2 this fall, email us.
At this point, we’re only looking for completed pieces. This includes previously published or unpublished pieces, but it must be complete essays, not pitches.
Submissions welcomed by freelancers and professors alike. Self-taught historians and aficionados also preferred.
Deadline: September 16th.
The rate is $200 per essay/paper. Note: Academic journals do not pay for the essays/papers that they publish. We pay however.
