Ella's World is an upcoming YouTube channel where pre-schoolers can learn, laugh and have fun through entertaining 3D animation videos. Children can join Ella on her various exciting adventures that are highly engaging for kids and a great escape for overworked parents. By watching Ella's World, kids get to learn about reading, writing, math, problem solving and can develop many other important skills for a child's early success. It's a magical place where kids and parents can bond and watch along together.

BIG PICTURE:

We are searching for a talented and experienced Lyricist/Writer to create original songs and stories that are highly engaging and educational for kids. The ideal person is proficient in writing and recording catchy songs and tunes in a wide range of schemes that aid in developing storylines for an animated series for children. This individual has both technical and musical expertise with an enthusiastic approach that can adhere to our brand guidelines and audience. In addition, they will possess the ability to complete projects in a short timeframe with exceptional communication. Our Lyricist should be very open to feedback as they may be asked to rewrite or make various versions of the songs and or stories they are working on.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:

• Researching, sourcing, pitching, and writing engaging and age appropriate content for kids
• Developing innovative, creative and educational songs and stories from start to finish
• Highly involved with all aspects pertaining to the creative vision and process of story writing, script, lyrical interpretation, and execution
• Responsible for proofreading and distributing all outlines, script drafts, and revisions
• Collaborating closely with the team and Creative Director in completing all projects, syncing music, making final adjustments, and meeting deadlines

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• 3+ years experience writing lyrics for original songs and jingles; preferred within children’s animation
• In depth knowledge of various experiences and emotions pertaining to children's development
• Strong writing talent, as well as creativity, patience, self-motivation, and an understanding of the process behind an animated series
• Possess the ability to work and collaborate closely with others
• Highly ambitious and organized with solid communication skills
• Solution oriented and resilient; approaches challenges and roadblocks with ideas

WHO OVERSEES YOU:

The Lyricist/Writer will report directly to the Artistic Director Jr Manager.

WHO YOU OVERSEE:

Currently, the Lyricist/Writer has no personnel reporting directly to him or her.

WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:

This is a remote position where you are able to work from a home office.

WHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENS:

This is a 1099 Consultant role expected to be less than 20 hours a week with the potential to evolve into a full time position if all goes well.
