Freelance Tech Writer wanted | 10 cents per word (to start)

AK Internet Consulting, Inc. is a Maryland-based tech company. We run several tech sites that focus on providing readers with up-to-date tips on software, hardware, gadgets, and anything else tech-related. We also provide computer and tech support to local businesses and consumers.

Our three active sites - Online Tech Tips (www.online-tech-tips.com), Help Desk Geek (helpdeskgeek.com), and Switching To Mac (switchingtomac.com) - get a combined 6 million page views a month and we pride ourselves on writing content that is interesting, in-depth and evergreen.

We are currently looking for a freelance writer to write content for those sites. We would like articles on the following topics: Windows, Mac, Linux, Office (desktop/365), IoT, security, gadgets, web tools/utilities, troubleshooting software/hardware, tech tutorials, tech guides, web browsers, apps (iPhone/Android), buying guides, and gaming.

Do you have experience writing about these topics? If so, then you may be our perfect fit! Take a look at our sites and see what kind of content we are currently producing. If you feel confident you can produce the same level of quality, we definitely want to talk to you!

REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for writers who MUST have the following qualities:

Experience writing about technology, computers and software (you will be asked to provide published proof of your experience).
Ability to write at least two articles a week (which will be increased when you prove yourself to us).
Superior writers who can write clearly, concisely, with excellent structure, and in a way that engages and interests the reader.
Writers with English as their first native language. Your grammar skills must be one hundred percent spot-on.
Willing to accept editor feedback, constructive criticism and being motivated.
Excellent communication skills with our editors and will respond to our messages in a timely manner.

SALARY:

You will be paid on a per-post basis. You will be started on 10 US cents per word (payable by Paypal), and you will be eligible for pay increases when you have proven your worth to us.

We do not negotiate salaries so please do not apply if you are not happy with starting on 10 US cents per word.

OTHER POINTS:

Content will be attributed to you, but the content copyright will be owned by our company. We are free to edit and use the content as we see fit.
Content cannot include any links to personal websites, properties or businesss ventures, as well as affiliate links (except our own).
Content cannot be used again on another website or in print. It should be unique content only for our website. Articles will be randomly checked on plagiarism tools.
