VerywellHealth is looking for freelancers to pitch and cover health news stories! We are not a breaking news site, instead, we add context and/or actionable steps in response to health news. Must be comfortable with same-week turnaround and interviewing experts (~2 per story).
We operate on a pay scale, 700-1000 words: $200, 1001-1500 words: $250, 1501-2000 words: $300. If interested email writeforus@verywell.com with “news writer position” in subject line. Please include your resume and a link to your portfolio/clips!
