Pitches wanted (TV) | ~40 cents per word

Call for pitches! Looking to commission TV features for an upcoming issue. Essays, opinion pieces, interviews, trend pieces, oral histories etc. Either relating to what we've seen in 2020 or what's ahead in 2021. We're not looking for retro/anniversary pitches at the moment.
Couple of things. Each pitch just needs a rough title and a short paragraph on the idea/why it would work and any access you'd suggest. We don't take interviews that have already been done or completed features.
We pay by the word unless it's something with a ton of legwork and few words, and then we'll agree a flat fee. As they're features, we are looking for people with experience/who've been published elsewhere. Please pop a couple of links in your email.
We're critical in reviews obviously, but as this is a celebration of telly in features, we're not looking for negative pieces on shows you dislike. We anticipate quite a lot of pitches, so we will try to answer as many as we can (if it's a no), but all might not be possible.
