COMPANY/PUBLICATION: ARCO + ASSOCIATES

This position will serve to assist the content team at Arco + Associates with overflow writing projects. Our clients include a broad range of B2B and B2C organizations throughout the country. The Arco content department is responsible for producing high quality, on-brand communications such as long-form pieces that include thought leadership articles and website copy as well as short-form deliverables such as social posts and email drips. We are looking for you to join us as a Freelance Writer where you will work hand in hand with our in-house copywriters to craft language, develop content, and communicate effectively to move the needle on our clients’ broader marketing communication efforts.

Candidates must submit a resume and two writing samples (one long-form and one short-form).

Time commitment: Project-based with 2-3 day turn for each assignment

Price range: $50-$70/hour dependent upon experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Copywriting/content creation for a variety of industries, audiences, and platforms
Writing clearly and concisely on a range of complex, research-based topics
Proofreading assignments to detect and correct errors
Conduct necessary research for blog posts, articles, etc.
Adopt a variety of tones, styles, and voices to adjust accordingly to different clients

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, or related field
2+ years freelance or agency writing experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to research and learn about a wide range of topics
Fast paced and self-directed
