The newly created role of Copywriter/Content Writer will lead the written content development for all our marketing activities. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position will work closely with others in the Marketing team to help drive increased customer engagement and sales. The ideal candidate will be able to juggle multiple projects, will have great time and project management skills, and a desire to operate in a fast-paced environment where they have autonomy. While mentoring and coaching can be expected, candidates who wait for others to tell them what to do will not be a good fit for this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sets up new products on the site, including writing product descriptions, editing/uploading imagery, and completing product attribution.
- Manage and work from a worklist, setting up a variety of products across different vendors and categories.
- Access different vendor’s assets from different locations.
- Implements and maintains style guides in order to write original web content that is consistent with the brand
- Edits/loads imagery that showcases the product in the optimal way
- Collaborate across the team to ensure products are available for sale online by the time of product receipt
- Workflow and system optimization
- Product template creation
- Included on projects to support business initiatives as needed.
