Writer wanted for history-focused YouTube channel | $500+ per script

We're looking for a scriptwriter who can write similar to OverSimplified (4m subscribers). For a job writing 2 YouTube video scripts per month. Well paid (to be negotiated, but starting at $500 USD/script for a roughly 8-minute video). With meaningful messages behind each script. To explain:

The creative strategy of the YouTube channel will be to tell the history of conflicts through the lens of psychology - both about the leaders, and their followers. Examples - how did certain followers get so excited about something so false? Why were they unable to see the wrong that they were doing?. We'll do it with fun, comedic interpretations of the events (while being respectful where that is due). Events such as wars, coup d'états, fall of empires, etc.

The purpose of analysing history in such a way is to help viewers become aware of their own susceptibility to manipulation by leaders in the modern-day (as I'm sure we all see around us happening way too frequently).

Our mission is to help build critical thinking and self-awareness into social norms, allowing us to see our similarities and collective objectives more clearly. This YouTube brand will be the first of many, each with their own approach of bringing such educational ideas to a large, mainstream audience!

You as the scriptwriter will be guiding which historical topics we choose (with our assistance/triangulation). Initial ideas include the propaganda techniques of the Nazis, and the collapse of the Roman Empire.

If you see the polarisation issues in the world at the moment and want to leverage your skills to help fix them (by helping to reduce people's susceptibility to influence since they understand their psychology better), then this may be your perfect project!
