Pitches wanted (public/non-profit media) | 50 to 75 cents per word

We are looking for pitches related to public/nonprofit media. We pay 50 cents/word up to a maximum of $600. Pieces longer than 1,200 words are fine, we just don't pay over $600 per piece. We add an extra 25 cents/word if the piece is published in our print edition, up to a maximum of an extra $300.
