Added 2020-10-21 20:12:13 +0000 UTCCOMPANY/PUBLICATION: IMMERSE
Immerse is looking for proposals for articles that platform and interrogate emergent non-fiction media (VR/XR/AR, video games, post-Internet art, virtual platforms, interactive media, participatory or co-created works, and more).
We welcome proposals from writers, scholars and practitioners who are looking to expand critical inquiries of emergent media, especially by Black, Indigenous, and people of color writers. This could include reviews of significant works, festival or conference reports, interviews or features about a particular studio or approach, a conversation between artists or theorists, production diaries, white papers and academic research, manifestos, and many other written approaches.
We are looking to publish texts of 1200-1500 words in length and pay a standard fee. You can read more about our editorial vision here.
