We are looking for a talented Medical Writer to contribute to a project. This is a short-term contract position.

You are someone who wants to make a difference, and you want to derive meaning from your work. At QxMD we are focused on improving knowledge translation in medicine, to help ensure healthcare professionals have the information they need to treat patients with the highest quality of care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Write educational content for clinicians about measurable residual disease (MRD) in B-Cell ALL based on the provided outline.

The content should address key learning objectives that we'll give you in a condensed (microlearning) format.

KEY LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

• Understand the prognostic and clinical implications of measurable residual disease (MRD), and the clinical utility and optimal timing of MRD testing in B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)
• Understand the differences between available methodologies for MRD testing (i.e., MFC, PCR, NGS) and optimal sampling of bone marrow aspirate for MRD analysis in B-cell ALL
• Become familiar with the interpretation of MRD results, approaches to MRD-based treatment decision-making, and therapeutic options for patients with MRD-positive B-cell ALL
• Understand the evolving pediatric B-ALL treatment landscape and chemo-minimizing approaches to therapy

The final draft should be under 4,000 words.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Quick turnaround times (first draft within 1 week, final draft by November 15)
• Excellent writing skills
• Deep expertise with the topics mentioned in the learning objectives above
• Prior experience as a medical educator is an asset
