We are looking for pitches! Currently commissioning long-form, deeply reported stories to start reporting right away. DM for more details.
Rates depend on the scope of the story and journalist’s experience, but we’re aiming for about $1/word. Our stories are behind a simple paywall, and our new business model allows us to share a percentage of the story revenue with journalists.
Would also love to do some international stories! Audience is English-speaking (and mostly in the US) but definitely interested in what's going on in other countries.
