Pitches wanted (cycling) | $200 to $1,000+ per piece

Pitches are always welcome. My freelance budgets are tight, though, through the end of the pro cycling season (early November) but open up after that. Most pieces end up in the $200-$250 range. Brief news items can go as low as $50 (but we rarely freelance those) and big features up to $750-$1k or more. But the sort of 800-1200 word average piece is in that 250 range.
