Jaspr Health is looking for a Science Content Writer (3+ years experience) to help us share stories about our work and educate the general public and potential customers about evidence-based care. The ideal candidate will have deep respect for science and the wisdom of people with lived experience, enthusiasm for making a difference in the world, and excellent writing skills to synthesize research findings into engaging pieces tailored to diverse audiences. In this position you will work closely with our team to deliver a steady stream of content needed to accomplish Jaspr Health’s marketing and branding goals as well as be encouraged to creatively and independently generate new content ideas.

MUST HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or any related field
Advanced degree/certification in scientific writing or related field
Demonstrated experience in content writing that retains scientific integrity

Ability to synthesize dense scientific information
Ability to work independently and proactively
Knowledge of keywords, SEO, and meta tags
Ability to meet fast deadlines
Ability to work effectively/collaborate with other team members
Passion for science and research as well as writing
Creative mindset and ability to come up with new content ideas
Stays up to date with current market tends

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Experience writing about behavioral health, suicide prevention, evidence based practices, or for health systems is not required but would be considered very useful experience.
