We are Hurdle. Hurdle offers the only culturally intentional telemental health care designed for Black people and inclusive of all minority groups. Hurdle empowers organizations to provide their employees/members with culturally-informed mental health services, including digitally accessible self-mastery tools, wellness workshops, and teletherapy. About the position. We’re looking for a Senior Writer to oversee our app and web written content strategy and create a cohesive customer experience that engages and encourages our members. You will oversee and execute on an iterative and rapid content production process that allows us to release relevant content and drive top-of-funnel conversion.

You will work closely with teams across the organization to learn our business goals, understand the unique experience of the members of our communities, and produce engaging content for people who are using our self mastery tools to improve their mental health. You will also partner in conducting content audits of existing assets and manage gap analyses to identify high-value content opportunities.

You will be in charge of creating and maintaining editorial calendars, style guides, taxonomies, metadata frameworks, and content migration plans.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES.

Create compelling content including but not limited to daily motivational messages, blog posts, and self care articles for our community members across all channels
Create and manage a strategic roadmap for top-of-funnel content
Develop and maintain a rapid content production pipeline to support evolving marketing initiatives
Process and provide recommendations for future content development based on relevant success metrics
Optimize content formats to maximize engagement
Manage multiple work streams with both internal stakeholders and external contractors

QUALIFICATIONS.

You’re passionate about improving access to mental health services and committed to delivering better solutions for people from diverse backgrounds
You’re able to compellingly communicate a brand’s story and excel at writing content for different channels
You thrive when you are managing multiple projects at once
You are comfortable in a fast-paced, early-stage company work environment

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Our ideal candidate is a professional writer with experience producing consumer-facing content in the healthcare, public health, and/or behavioral health spaces
Candidates who demonstrate a deep commitment to the problems we are solving
