Writer wanted for Spire sourcebook and other projects (worldwide) | ~20 cents per word

Rowan, Rook and Decard are looking for writers to work with us on the next Spire supplement. We pay well above standard industry rates and in return we expect excellent quality writing.
We are especially interested in receiving applications from writers from diverse and marginalised backgrounds. You don’t have to be published or experienced but you must provide an example of your work.

ABOUT ROWAN, ROOK AND DECARD: Rowan, Rook and Decard was founded in 2017 by independent game designers Grant Howitt and Chris Taylor, with Mary Hamilton as business director. We publish Heart, Spire, Honey Heist, Unbound, Goblin Quest, and many other tabletop games. Our mission is to create awesome moments through exciting, beautiful, clever games. Our vision is to break new ground with enduring, excellent experiences.
RATES: We're a UK Living Wage employer, which can be tricky to work out for writing rates. There are a few different commissions we're hiring for; we usually offer a lump sum and a rough wordcount target, so that writers can write a little shorter or longer if they think the project requires it. For this project we are aiming to come in at around 15p per word.
LOCATION: We'd be happy to consider writers based anywhere in the world as long as they're comfortable working in English.
