I'm looking for technical writers who enjoy writing long-form articles (2,000 words) and have an understanding of topics such as:
- Cloud services like AWS, Azure
- Synthetic Transactions
- Monitoring (API, endpoint, network)
- Containerization, Kubernetes
- Auto-Scaling, Resource Optimization
The articles often do a deep-dive into best practices or common challenges associated with certain goals. For example:
- How using AWS Organizations can reduce infrastructure cost
- What is the difference between real user monitoring and synthetic monitoring?
It helps if you've managed cloud resources before, but it's not required. These articles can often require reading public documentation or blog posts on the related subject as part of the research.
Rate: $.20 - $.30 per word
Amount of work: Potentially ongoing, 1-3 articles per month.
I currently use Upwork and Fiverr, but open to alternatives.
