Open call for pitches from a Black and/or Asian American writer for January column! We're open to different creative forms and encourage collaborative pieces. Pay is $300.

Beyond what we fight against, what do we care for and grow together? Looking for creative works on local projects (example: community gardens) and movements (example: food, environmental and healing justice); alternative forms (example: recipes, instructions for tending to land and plants, etc.)

Please send pitches (~250 words), writing sample and info about yourself by Monday, December 21. We're hoping for someone who can have a draft by Monday, January 11. Happy to answer questions and discuss ideas over email.
