ERMProtect, a leading cybersecurity company in Coral Gables, Florida, is looking for a freelance cybersecurity writer to author thought leadership articles for CISOs on penetration testing, PCI Compliance, digital forensics, and data breaches.

The writer should be able to research and write compelling and insightful articles about these topics for long-form (1,200-word) articles. At the same time, the writer should be able to write shorter, informative posts for social media and pitch scripts describing our services for video presentations. The successful candidate for this job will have demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity and excellent communication and writing skills. We will consider candidates who are obtaining an IT security degree.

COMPENSATION: I had planned to negotiate a flat per piece rate for articles in the 1,000 word range. ($300 per piece). The writer must be able to write about data security, privacy, IT security and data compliance. If you go to our website under resources or to our blog, you can get a sense of the content needs. Our primary objective at this stage is to drive SEO, so some of the articles can be basic, and not overly technical.
