Looking for a flexible and reliable freelance gig? We are on the lookout for at least one (and possibly several) science news contributors who can file ~2x a week in 2021.
Exact rate will vary based on the contributor agreement (how often they're filing, what kind of stories, etc.), but our standard for reported news and analysis is $2,000 a month for roughly two a week.
We're also very flexible about occasionally needing to switch up the schedule, taking time away from the gig, skipping the second post for the week if the first turned out to be more involved than expected—that sort of thing.
