Writer wanted for tech how-to articles, user guides | up to 10+ cents per word

We are looking for a skilled, self-motivated tech-writer who is experienced in creating user guides and how-to articles on tech-related topics.

PAYMENT:

We usually pay $100 per 1500-2000 word piece of article. But in general, we are ready to consider options up to $0.10 and higher if you can prove your skills and show suitable samples.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Fluent English. We prefer native speakers but are open to hiring non-native speakers with an extensive portfolio of great tech articles. Basic understanding of SEO. Your articles should not only be well-written but also meet basic SEO requirements.

Be familiar with WordPress. We are willing to pay extra if you have the ability to add your own articles to our blog, which uses WordPress.

Experience in writing articles on technical topics in general and the topics listed below in particular.

THINGS WE WON'T TOLERATE

Bad English. Grammatical errors, bad wording, poor writing style, and bad quality of writing in general.

When a person pretends to be another person or a test assignment is done by one person and subsequent assignments by someone else. It is very important to us that all the articles are written by the person who has completed the test task so that all articles are of the same quality. In case we notice that articles are written by different people, we reserve the right to revise our cooperation. Moreover, we will give preference to candidates who are willing to publish articles in their real name, with links to professional social networks (LinkedIn, Twitter).

Plagiarism. At the same time, we don’t expect writers to be experts on every topic, so you’re encouraged to research already published articles on the same topic and cite interesting facts to support your own conclusions.

P.S. We will provide the requirements, topics, and keywords to concentrate on. You will be describing and explaining one of our mainstream software products for Windows and Mac.
