TECHNOLOGY / IT COPYWRITER

The technology / IT copywriter’s primary responsibilities are creating quality content for our client marketing programs and working with our marketing specialists and coordinators to ensure content is effective, on deadline and on budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Writing technology specific content for clients.
• Content can include blogs, articles, case studies, ebooks, infographics and more
• Balancing multiple writing projects at any given time, ensuring that projects are completed by their deadlines and that they fall within their budgeted resources
• Working with project manager and account managers under tight deadlines, and consistently meeting those deadlines
• Independently researching topics for content creation
• Interviewing subject matter experts to enhance content
• Finding and developing industry sources for content when needed
• Effectively managing multiple deadlines and projects

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT/technical writing and content creation, preferably within an IT or marketing firm
• Stellar communication skills (writing, verbal and presentation)
• Big-picture thinking while still keeping a close eye on the details
• Superior organizational and project management skills
• AP Style expert
• Ability to work autonomously and independently
• Portfolio of articles/features/blogs previously produced required (please attach to application) and or samples of work managed.

PREFERRED

• Candidates with background in writing content for IT executive audience or for a B2B services company
• Demonstrated ability to write appropriately concise content for visual presentation deliverables
