Schedule: Flexible Schedule (will be required to attend virtual meetings)

With our headquarters in San Jose, we partner with Silicon Valley’s most pioneering companies and entrepreneurs to develop breakthrough products in tech, automotive, medical, robotics, industrial, consumer goods, and more. Concept-to-market services we offer include product design, experience design, engineering, user insights, and testing, among others.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Our online presence is constantly evolving. We are looking for someone who is passionate about content marketing, social media, writing and the creative process as a whole.

You’re committed to your craft and up to speed on the best practices in the industry. The projects will be ongoing.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Background-You’ll be expected to develop a full understanding of Speck Design’s solutions, target vertical markets and audience personas in order to appeal to and maximize audience engagement
• Website content-copywriting, copy editing and image optimization
• Content marketing-managing outreach of content to paid/ owned/ earned channel
• Email marketing-development of copy and layout, including subject lines
• Social media-content and community management
• Internal/external comms-Supporting the Agency’s internal comms & B2B external comms through web content & social media outreach
• Strategy-Contribute to long term and short term marketing strategies
• Writing-Write thought pieces on emerging technology and design

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working in tech industry or product design
• Social Media Management
• Social Media Marketing
• SEO
• Design Thinking
• Research Expert
• Editing and Proofreading
• Copywriting
• Website Content Creating

• A portfolio of work
• Preferred majors: Creative writing or advertising
• Passion for social media and emerging technology and platforms
• Collaborative and team orientated, but also capable of working independently
• Detail-oriented
• Able to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into accessible language
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
