Lori Fox is looking for journalists:
Do we know any Northern Indigenous women journalists (must be living in the North, I'm afraid) who are looking for freelance work right now? I have a gig that keeps offering me work focused on Indigenous Women's business and entrepreneurship and I keep turning them down because I don't feel should be getting paid for that when a) there are people from that community who should be and b) I have enough work and freelancing is tough, and it's my duty and pleasure to share with colleagues.
Pay is 50-60 cents a word. I do need folks to have a journalism background and experience writing features, because I'd be recommending you. Roll on up into my DMs if you know someone or are interested.
