We're open for pitches in general. We publish twice a year.
We want the stories no one else will publish. We like weirdos. We like relatable travel. Above all, we like stories of people living, breathing, and experiencing life in mountain towns. No lists. No gear. Poetry, art, illustrations, and more are welcomed. We have not figured out how to properly do a scratch and sniff issue. Apologies.
Please send pitches in the email body. No Word or Pages docs. No Google docs. In our short time back, we received quite literally hundreds of queries. Please give us time to respond.

COMPENSATION: Our stories happen anytime someone walks out their front door. We pay between $500-$3000 for feature length pieces. We do not pay by word. We pay by project, that rate is discussed and agreed upon before assigning the story officially, and we pay via Venmo, PayPal, or direct deposit after the work has been copy edited and placed by the art director. Every writer and photographer receives payment before they receive their copy of the magazine.
