I commission reported stories and features. I especially love pitches for oral histories, internet culture, LGBTQ issues, money, sex / dating and lifestyle.
Our latest rate works out 20p/word, so an 800 word piece would get paid £200. We pay more for investigations and longform but that varies depending on the story. Writers can be based anywhere, but I am specifically looking for UK stories or stories that would appeal to UK audiences.
