Pitches wanted (music, TV) | $300 per piece

Starting now, I’m in charge of assigning some freelance music and/or TV-related articles. Send me pitches. Essays/takes/opinions always tend to do well for us, especially if they touch on why a show is an important part of the zeitgeist. Interviews with talent about shows as well. We don't do episodic reviews. Our rates vary depending on the assignment but $300 for ~800 words is typical.
All pitches are welcome, though they have to be right for our audience. We're a US-based men's lifestyle publication.
