Remote Technology Writer wanted | $175 per deliverable (around $3,500 per month)

The ideal freelancer is self-motivated, delivers print-worthy articles on time, and is passionate about writing and the writing process.

We are seeking an experienced freelance writer with a background in or passion for technological writing for B2B publications. Some recent examples of technically complex topics include software development, cloud data integration and migration, petrochemical refining, and automated orbital welding. We are looking for a writer who can hit the ground running, researching and/or drawing from professional, hands-on experience to deliver enjoyable and informative content.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous B2B writing or publication experience with a proven track record of independent research and content development.
• Punctuality, professionalism, and excellent time management skills.
• A reliable internet connection and computer.
• Positive and energetic attitude.

DUTIES:

• Write up to five well-researched, engaging, and insightful articles for web publication per week.
• Turn around revisions in 48 hours when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with your editors to ensure every deliverable meets our high editorial standard and is perfected ahead of its due date.
• Attend meetings with your editor or manager to gain additional client knowledge and support (optional).
• Help discover client’s business needs and propose appropriate topics and articles (optional).

PAY AND BENEFITS:

This is a freelance position. Initially, this role will entail 5 weekly deliverables at the rate of $175.00 per deliverable. This would mean a monthly income of approximately $3,500.

OUR PROCESS:
